Thank you to everyone for the feedback on 43 People. We whipped up a page that will show you all the stories by and about you, including all the comments for each story.
You can get to this page at the bottom of your profile page, by clicking “see all stories.” From there, you can save the HTML file, or copy/paste the content of individual stories to 43 Things, etc.
For instance, the URL for my page is: http://joe.43people.com/profile/entries
Note that this page can be very big, so it may take a while to load. We’ve tested it on some of our most prolific users and we don’t think there are any issues, but please let us know if you find any.  We’ll give everyone plenty of time to get your stories archived before we shut down 43 People.

Thanks Joe. I definitely appreciate you guys jumping on this so quickly. I was reminiscing looking back at my history on 43People and was reminded that I marked that I wanted to meet you long before you became a Robot, and was glad to have met you finally after you became a Robot.

Hey ‘bots, I’d like to know, are there any plans to fix the cheer-stuff-and-mess-up-year-in-review thing? It’s described in the comment here: http://blog.robotcoop.com/2010/04/13/how-we-over-did-it/#comment-12538
Also, any replies on my gripes with the new floating window for writing entries? They’re here: http://blog.robotcoop.com/2010/04/13/how-we-over-did-it/#comment-12522

Hi Vex, we’ve got both of these things on our to-do list. Sorry for taking so long to reply.

Will the “Your Year in Review” feature go away if/when the 43Peeps site goes away?
Thanks for any information you can provide.

The Year in Review that’s hosted on 43 People will go away, but we re-wrote it and moved it to 43 Things, so that one will stay. Here’s mine, for example:

Just plug in your username to see yours. You can access it from your profile page, to the right of your user icon.

I don’t often use 43People, but I do like knowing it is there and using it when I need to. I understand the reasons for discontinuing the site but was wondering if it would be a workable solution to simply make 43People a tab on your 43T profile (next to the I’ve done, and 2010 Resolutions tab). I would be more likely to use that function than the full site. I don’t always want to incorporate people I would like to meet, or have met in my goal list unless it is something I am actively working on but would like to continue to have the option to post and list them. I am also reluctant to use my 43T list for meeting people because the entries would get lost in the feed there but by having a tab that is dedicated to them I could keep those records together easily enough.

I don’t want to lose the messages of my inbox in 43People. Is there way to transfer all of these too? Just asking. Thanks!

Sorry, you’ll have to copy/paste them.
