Are you curious about how many things you’ve accomplished this year? What your most successful month was? Whether you’ve given more cheers or received more cheers? Maybe you’re making some New Year’s Resolutions and you just want to look back on the past year. We’ve added a new feature for data nerds and anyone who wants to reflect on 2009:
It’s your 43 Things Year In Review. All the gory details in list format are also available. There’s a link to it on the right side of your profile page, like so:
When I looked at my Year In Review I noticed that I write entries and give cheers in fits and spurts. I also found a few goals from the beginning of the year that I totally forgot about. Is there anything interesting, surprising, or totally expected in yours?

I really like the year in review feature. I am a bit unsure about the way the data is being pulled across though…. I have a specific goal currently that is to ‘not give up on my goals’….. I have had this since October and so far I am succeeding… but when I look at Nov and Dec stats it states that I have given up on ‘X’ things… when I look at the things in the list, they were all given up over a year ago. I like the feature very much, but would like to know it was accurate.

Axx,
Thanks for pointing out the bug — there are some issues with given up and completed goals because they can be “updated” by things like writing entries after they have been given up or completed. This is also what is causing the completed goal list to occasionally shuffle itself as some people have noticed.

I love the Year in Review. How fun to look at the statistics from many different angles. And I especially like that I can go back to a point in time and see my entries from that era. Very cool.
I’m also enjoying the New Year Resolutions feature. Thanks for that. Happy New Year to the Robots!

Enjoying the new Year in Review feature … and I admit I like looking at other people’s, too, so I can sort of get a bead on how other people function (but I’m nosy like that … wonder why I majored in anthropology? ;P).

it’s only been 3 weeks and my new years resolutions are already long broken.
